Located in the Borough of Punxsutawney in Jefferson County
The PA Department of Transportation will be constructing a bridge replacement project along this Urban Minor
Collector that crosses the Elk Run (a non-navigable stream). The Elk Run Avenue (SR 0310) intersection
along with sidewalks in the project area will see improvements as well as a result of the project.
A total of 4 parcels will be affected during construction; there are no displacements expected.
Right of Way activities will commence in late fall 2008 and are to conclude by fall of 2009 to
allow for a spring 2010 construction letting. Construction activities are projected to proceed into 2011.
