Herman Road Bridge Project

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
Engineering District 10-0

Project Details:

SR 2004 Section 250 and Zeigler Avenue Section 250
Located in the City of Butler and Butler Twp.
Butler County

The PA Department of Transportation (PENNDOT) plans to replace the structure that crosses Coal Run along SR 2004. There are no detours anticipated to accomplish project objectives. The State Roadway is classified as an Urban Collector. Approximately 2,200 vehicles travel the route daily. Nominal vertical realignment to the road is projected as a result of the bridge replacement.

IAS is providing title and acquisition services to PENNDOT for the project; the Engineering District 10-0 appraisal staff has provided valuations. A total of four (4) parcels will be affected with no relocation activities anticipated. Right-of-Way activities commenced in February 2015 and are to conclude by July 2015 to allow for a late summer 2015 construction letting. Construction activities are projected to proceed through 2016. For additional information, visit the District 10-0 website at www.dot.state.pa.us or contact any of the below representatives.
