I-99 Corridor Mitigation Projects
State Route 0220 Sections E10
Located in the Township of Snyder, Blair County, and Townships of Taylor, Worth and Huston in Centre County
The PA Department of Transportation has commitments set forth by the Natural Resource
Compensation Plan of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 404 Permit, to mitigate wetlands
and waterways. The project includes wetland replacements, stream improvements, forest
preservation/enhancement, American woodcock
habitat/preservation, and wildlife corridor & shrub land/mixes. There were 52 property
owners affected by the project. Final Right of Way clearance was obtained in accord with
the construction letting schedule.
