Lehigh Valley International Airport Runway Expansion & Noise Abatement
Located in the City of Allentown in Lehigh County
The LNAA is in the process of expanding existing facilities at the LVIA (Airport Code: ABE)
to accommodate additional flight service to locations throughout the United States. The new runway
construction is complete; however, the Authority's noise abatement program portion of the project is
ongoing. In all, approximately 60 parcels are affected with an estimated 60 total displacements
resulting from the Federal Aviation Administration regulated project. IAS is providing appraisal,
appraisal review, negotiation, relocation advisory assistance and overall project file review services
to the LNAA. Right of way acquisition is in the final stages; relocation activities are anticipated
to continue through spring of 2004. For additional information visit the LVIA website at,
